Crimson Agility is looking for a Magento/Adobe Commerce Engineer with a strong background in object-orientated programming, PHP, and Magento. The successful candidate will be a person who values challenging and innovative projects and takes pride in their work. In this position, you will be expected to participate on a team responsible for implementing Adobe Commerce and developing innovative solutions for our e-commerce clients following “best practices.”
This position is available to remote candidates located within the United States or Brazil.

WE’LL NEED YOU TO

  • Develop and implement innovative features and functionality for e-commerce using Magento
  • Collaborate with a team of passionate e-commerce professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes
  • Apply your expertise in Magento, PHP, MySQL & JavaScript to extend, enhance and build great user experiences
  • Understand e-commerce business requirements and convert them into a coherent design
  • Unit test and take accountability for the quality of your work

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience with Magento in the backend, including building custom modules from scratch
  • 3+ years of experience with PHP, MySQL, and Web Applications
  • Comfortable working in the frontend when required
  • Experience working in an Agency environment
  • Ambition and Conversational English (B2/C1)

IT’D BE A PLUS IF YOU HAD

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Any Adobe Commerce certifications
  • Experience optimizing and refactoring application code
  • Optimized web server configurations and have experience scaling web applications
